Genres I read:
I mainly read Young Adult books. And although I do enjoy other genres in my own time, this blog is devoted only to YA and thus I only review YA. Most of the YA novels I do read and will accept fall under the following categories paranormal, urban fantasy, fantasy, science fiction, and dystopian. Feel free to check out a list of all my reviews to get a feel for the type of books I generally enjoy.
How long to review a book?
I try to review my books in a timely manner. I read from 1 to 2 books a week and normally post my reviews the day I read them.
A couple things before you contact me:
- Sadly, I must say that accepting a book for review does not guarantee a review. Usually, I give a book at least 50 pages to "capture my attention" if it does not, I will move on.
-I do thoroughly investigate a novel before I accept it for review. I try to only accept novels in which I can be somewhat certain I will enjoy!
- I prefer to read hard copies over PDF files.
